The AlpinePure hot gas bypass option is designed specifically to limit the evaporating pressure in the cooling mode to prevent the evaporator coil from forming ice. AlpinePure filters are available in both 1-inch and 2-inch sizes with MERV efficiency ratings that vary based on the product line and unit size.
